Booking a tool means giving us a few details. Here is exactly what we keep, what we do with it, and how to have it changed or removed.
What this page is
Armstrong Enterprises runs this site to take rental bookings. This page says what we collect, why we have it, and how to get it changed or removed. It describes what the site actually does. It is not legal advice, and it is ours to keep accurate.
What you give us when you book
Your name and phone number, so we can reach you about the rental. An email address if you choose to give one. A delivery address, only if you ask for delivery. Anything you type into the notes box. The item, the dates and the price you agreed.
What we do with it
We use it to hand you the right tool on the right day, to reach you if something changes, and to keep a record of the rental for our accounts. We do not sell it, rent it out, or pass it to anyone for marketing.
Payments
If you pay online, PayPal takes the payment. Card numbers are entered on PayPal's own pages and never reach this site. We keep the reference PayPal gives us so we can match a payment to a booking, and nothing more.
The mailing list
If you sign up for specials, we keep the email address or phone number you gave, your name if you gave one, and the date you signed up. Every email has an unsubscribe link that works in one click, and you can ask us to remove you at any time.
Who else can see it
The site runs on Cloudflare, so the booking is stored on their servers. PayPal sees what it needs to take a payment. If you message us on WhatsApp or Facebook, that conversation lives with them under their own terms. Nobody else has access.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept as long as we need them for our accounts and tax records. Mailing-list details are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to remove them.
Getting your details corrected or removed
Message or email us and tell us what you want changed. We will do it and confirm when it is done. If a booking is part of a completed rental we may need to keep the accounting record, and we will say so rather than quietly keeping it.
Cookies
This site does not use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie it sets is the one that keeps the owner signed in to the dashboard, and that is never set on a customer's visit.
